Please introduce yourself.
This is FUJI.
He's not in a band or a singer-songwriter, it's a solo project.
Please tell us what inspired you to start making music.
Originally, I started by uploading my music to SoundCloud, without even knowing what my name was.
I decided to release a collection of music once I had finished a few songs, and released my first album in the winter of 2021.
Tell us about your latest release.
"Mismatched Prayers"

I started working on this project because I wanted to create a choral piece.
I believe that a choir is the only thing that can repel the apocalyptic atmosphere that is currently spreading.
As in the past, I was in charge of almost all the instruments, programming, and mixing by myself, but I had Yukichi Kasaku/men and fuki (iVy/cephalo) join me on the chorus, and by clearly communicating my intentions and entrusting them to others, I think I was able to output the music in an appropriate way.
What are your favorite clothing brands?
I've always been interested in clothes.
I usually wear OUR LEGACY or Maison Margiela on top, Dickies double knee and Vans Authentic.
I think I prefer clothes that are not complete on their own, but have enough room to be influenced by the person wearing them.
I have been wearing the brands mentioned above for about 7-8 years now because I feel that they have stylish designs, regardless of the size of the brand.
Rather than relying on the iconic power of the product to do anything, I think the ideal thing would be to achieve something by multiplying it with the aura that emanates from the human being (although I think Margiela is the brand that is currently suffering the most from self-promotion).
Naturally, the same is true for music, and I strongly believe that music should exude the aura of the artist, rather than resting on its laurels, wearing designs that have been archived for a long time.
It was the first time that I talked about something that wasn't directly related to music, such as my favorite brands, but I thought that by conveying "why this person likes this," it might help promote understanding of the song or project.
It's always fun to talk about things you like, so I hope I can share that in this way as well.

Please let me know if there are any future announcements.
Regarding FUJI's activities, several live shows have been scheduled for the summer.

colormal pre. "Howl"
I prepare different gimmicks for each live performance, so I would like to continue expanding the range of expression in the future.
